Dakota Fanning!!! (aka Jane)- Dakota, who I'm sure you already all know from all of her previous movies like HIde and Seek, Push, and Uptown Girls, will play favorite little bad-ass torturess in the sequel.

Michael Sheen!!! (aka Aro)- Michael ((not 'Martin' as I thought it was in episode 14... one of those things that I realize about a minute after we stop recording... of course)) was most recently in Frost/Nixon (he was Frost not Nixon)but he's been in the Underworld movies, I know him from "The Queen" as Tony Blair. But yeah he's gonna play the big baddie vampire in New Moon whom we all should fear... too bad hes not as hot as Cam.

Alex Miraz!!! (Paul) Now normally i really don't like Paul but DAMN... this guy just might make me hungry for some ego busting/jack assing werewolf lover. <3 You all probably dont know him yet because hes really only been in small roles in Native American movies but hopefully we'll be seeing a lot more of him. hehe.

Bronson Pelletier!!! (Jared) Now I dont know that much about Jared but this dude looks a little young to me. Huh, maybe I'm still swooning from Mr. Paul up there. hehe. Bronson has been in a lot of TV but believe this is his first movie. His TV spots are nothing I've ever heard of although i know that one is about dinosaurs??? Bizarre. lol.

Cameron Bright!!! (Alec) Talk about young. He is supposed to be siblings with Jane right? Because this little guy is only 16 years old...the same age as Dakota. Hmm... Coincidence? This guy was in the Butterfly Effect, X Men, Thank You for Smoking, and Juno... although I'm not sure when yet. I'll figure it out.

Noot Seer!!!( Heidi) And the controversial role of Heidi goes to... this girl? Her claim to fame was a role in Head over Heels. Who knew that this would be our favorite dumb human catching vampire... dare to dream girl. (thanks for the correction Gentry!)

Chase Spencer!!! (Lakota) Ok.. maybe ive just done to many of these but I dont know who this is. At ALL. Maybe its like Walen where its a made up character for the movie. Hes cute though.

Justine Washsberger!!! (Gianna) Now I actually had to look up who this is because I honestly had no idea. I origionally got Heidi and Gianna mixed up. Shes the one who is the human living with the vampires who eventually wants to be turned into one. Who knew? Justine hasn't been in anything yet except the movie First Daughter in which she doesnt even have a name therfore shes obviously not a central character.

Kiowa Gordon!!! (Embry) So Embry is Jake's bff who goes over to the dark side first of his two best friends. I dont think hes done any offical acting work yet so this shall be interesting to say the least. At least hes authentically Native American.

Graham Greene!!! (Harry Clearwater) I'm not sure Harry is in New Moon that much but this semi-recognizable face is if you watch many Native American movies... He plays the main indian chief guy in Dances With Wolves (the guy who sounds out buf-ful-loo) So thats pretty interesting to say the least.

Tinsel Corey!! (Emily) I don't know much about Tinsel except that she's GORGEOUS and also done a lot of small TV spots. She'll make a good Emily I think. She was supposed to play Leah but im assuming she wanted a role in New Moon.

Charlie Bewley!!! (Demitri) Not bad of a choice I'd say for another hot sadistic vampire. I have No idea anything about him thouhg.. which can make me nervous.

Daniel Cudmore!!! (Felix) Another expert playing a Volturi guard member. Daniel has been a part of the X-men movies for quite some time playing some guy I dont know since I have never seen any of the X-men movies. However he has had some serious stunt work also so hes not afraid to rough it like our vampires!

Jamie Campbell Bower!!! (Caius) I dont know about ya'll but this cast choice was my favorite. I LOVE the movie Sweeny Todd and he is basically awesome as Anthony so im sure i'll love him as Caius too! Hes got the naturally pale vampire like looks too. (If your confused hes the guy who's NOT Johnny Depp... i Just like his look in this movie is all)

Tyson Housman!!! (Quil) Quill is my favorite werewolf in New Moon (besides Jacob.. and Seth isn't in new moon!) and I think they got him spot on for the movie.. I never really pictured him with glasses(and im 95% sure he wears them in the movie) but they totally work for him. Tyson is pretty much a no name like Kiowa and hasnt done any other major acting.

TAYLOR LAUTNER!!! (Jacob) I know he was in Twilight also but hes changed so much for the role that hes like a new man! A hunky gorgeous buff NEW MAN. Look for him and his new 8 pack as the new leading man heartthrob in the Twilight sequel.

Latest Midnight Sun Rumors! 4/11/09
So, our good friend, Casey the Vampire, has informed us that not only is Stephenie Meyer planning on releasing Midnight Sun but she is also planning on releasing another book I’m not sure if its New Moon or Twilight yet but I’ll find out soon enough) from JACOB's perspective! I'm crossing my fingers that this one is true. Maybe that petition email that was sent around to all of our e-mailers finally knocked some sense into her… or maybe it was Katie's slightly flattering non threatening email. Who knows?

R-Patz INJURED!!! 3/30/09
Turns out Mr. Pattinson needs to learn how to not be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm not exactly sure when this happened but sometime recently while he was shooting New Moon, a large gust of wind knocked a giant metal sign right into his head. No one had anytime to react or anything. Dont worry though he's perfectly fine, he just has a gigantic bruise on his head. Hopefully he wont have any long term consequences of this incident. Not to be a downer or anything... he wont die. I hope. (thanks to the girls from Peace Love Twilight for the scoop).
Chris Weitz is NOT going to direct Eclipse. According to a few sources, Chris Weitz the current director of New Moon is not going to also direct Eclipse since the filming of the two movies will overlap a bit. (No breaks for our favorite leading vampires) Now does this information make you a bit nervous? I mean if I were directing a movie (yeah right) and I knew that there wasn't even the slightest chance that I would be able to return for its sequel then I'd maybe be pissed enough to f-up the movie I was currently working on. What if we really like him? What if we hate him as a director and start screaming and crying for Catherine to come back? Well I guess now we'll never know. What ever happened to consistency in directors?

DVD Anyone??? 3/26/09
Please tell me that you all are crazy like me and went crazy for a movie that we all know that we have already seen. (Some of us multiple times in the theaters) Yet, its finally HERE and completely legal for me to watch whenever I please. The special features are amazing and I highly recommend watching them it seriously makes the movie seem all the more exciting. PLUS the deleted scenes are fabulous! So even if your lame and dont actually own the DVD I feel like its not a 'recommendation' for you to watch but a complete demand from us to. Go and 'borrow' and/or steal from your fellow fanpire obsess-ies who actually have already purchased the DVD. You'll understand then.

Apparently Stephanie's writing isn't quite up to par with Steven King's expectations, and he prefers J. K. Rowling. King states "Both Rowling and Meyer, are speaking directly to young people... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good."
Does the hair really make the vampire? 2/14/09
Well you decide. Back in December Rob Pattinson cut off his relatively long locks in rebellion against it being deemed his trademark. However since then it seems that he is catching a lot of grief from the producers about the change. What will happen will new moon, will it have grown out by then, will they go with the new look, or will R-Pattz be yet another Twilight cast member to sport a wig? Leave a comment to say which do' you like better.

 | The Jo-Bros in new moon... HELL NO! 2/12/09 For all you Jonas Brother fans get ready to squeal. The siblings have gone on the record saying that they want to be a part of the sequel and would love to be offered a chance to write a song for the soundtrack. Personally I think this would be worse than Rob Pattinson's 'never think', I mean I like Rob but come on, Twilight is a some what dark movie that needs a soundtrack to match it. Now I'm sure they have a nice big teen fan base but the Jonas Brothers just don't fit the profile. |
Twilight... dolls? 1/28/09
Hmm well the word creepy comes to mind... however i guess it's good for the little kiddies to know who they will be drooling over when they hit their teen years. Unfortunately the kids will have to save a lot of allowance to get the dolls considering they are about 140.00 each. Right now the Tonner Doll Company has only made an Edward and Bella doll but Robert Tonner the CEO of the company has gone on the record saying "I want to make them all, I'm having such a blast reading the books and getting to know all of the characters. I'm also reviewing movie stills, sculpting and designing. I'm completely immersed in their world." Below are pictures of the Edward and Bella dolls.

Dakota as Jane??? 1/25/09 It has recently come out that fourteen soon to be fifteen year old star Dakota Fanning is in negotiations to play Jane in New Moon. "There were no auditions, they just offered it to her outright," explains a source. Can Fanning do it? We all know for her roles in the past that she isn't afraid to step up to the challenge and starring in 2005's Hide and Seek she has shown us she can play that creepy little girl. While Dakota fits the physical descriptions to play the part she is 4'11'', blond and petite. Oh well I guess we'll have to wait to see if she gets casted to start questioning whether or not she can do it. |  |
Kellan and Ashley lovers???..... 1/22/09
Well not yet but as of now they are filming their new movie together WARRIOR! The film is about Connor (Kellan) a lacross player who begins to have feelings for Brooke (Ashley) the coach's daughter. Greene dishes about the new movie in an interview with MTV, she goes on saying "It's very much Kellan's movie, which is really exciting for him". The two have been good friends for a while so it's no surprise that when the movie Strife didn't work out for them they would jump at the chance to work together again. So all of you who are big fans of Emmett and Rosalie get used to seeing this...

Where they are now... or are going to be. 1/22/09
This is just for you fans who can't wait until November to see the stars you love so here is a recap of their upcoming movies.
Kristen Stewart: She will be starring in Adventureland with Martin Starr, Bill Hader, and Kristen Wiig all of whom are pretty funny so it should be a good movie it is coming out march 27 2009. After that opens she will be starring in another movie Welcome to the Rileys where she plays a stripper/hooker who ends up helping a husband and wife cope with the death of their daughter playing opposite James Gandolfini. She will also be in The Runaways and K-11 with Nikki Reed before New moon comes out!
Robert Pattinson: Rob doesn't currently have anything new coming out but since harry potter 4, R-Pattz has starred in little ashes where he plays an artist going to a university and is determined to be the best he can ( I saw a preview for it and it looks if anything else at least funny to see him with the facial hair) He also stars in a movie called How to Be.
Ashley Greene: Greene is going to star in Skateland, Summer, and Warrior with Kellan Lutz in which they play lovers so that should be an interesting movie to watch. In summer as far as i can tell she plays summer who is looking for her father but is also being stalked by a family of serial killers.
Nikki Reed: Nikki is starring in four movies before new moon comes out the first to be coming out is called chain mail. It is a horror movie about what happens to kids who don't forward chain massages. Then she will play Lauren Carrington in Privileged and stefanie in Last Day of Summer which is a comedy and finally she will be in K-11 with Kristen.
Jackson Rathbone: The first movie that will be coming out for Rathbone is hurt a dramatic horror where he plays Conrad Coltrane. Rathbone will also be starring in Dread, Daze: vol. too (sic)- nonsense, S. Darko( with Ed Westwick from gossip girl!!!) and finally the Last Airbender
Kellan Lutz: Kellan will be in the new CW tv show 90210 as well as starring in the movie warriors with Ashley Greene where he plays a star lacross player and falls for Greene who is the coach's daughter!!! DRAMA!!!
Taylor Lautner: Mr. Lautner played Jack Spivey in My Own Worst Enemy which has unfortunatly for Taylor been canceled but we still love you Taylor and at least you have New Moon.

In a recent podcast we discussed Taylor Lautner's new look including a new hair cut and a brand new gym built body. Lautner has put on 26 pounds and is still working toward his promise to the new directer Chris Weitz for thirty overall. Here a few pics of his new bod.
